WKS Restaurant Group operates over 380 restaurants across 19 states, managing iconic brands including Wendy's, Denny's, El Pollo Loco, Krispy Kreme, and Blaze Pizza. Each brand brought its own systems, data formats, and operational patterns — creating significant complexity for leadership trying to understand performance across the portfolio.
The Project
VisionWrights brought data together from disparate, legacy systems across all five brands and made it usable — so business leaders could understand the commonalities and differences across the organization. The work spanned point-of-sale data, HR platforms, accounting systems, and customer sentiment measurements, creating a unified view that had never existed before.
The challenge was not just technical but organizational: each brand operated differently, with different definitions for the same metrics. We worked closely with operations leaders to establish common frameworks that respected brand-level nuances while enabling meaningful cross-brand comparisons.
